Transfer to Genoa
From the city's own airport, from Milan or from Rome: here's how to reach Piazza De Ferrari without surprises on timing.
From Genoa Airport (Cristoforo Colombo)
The Volabus shuttle connects the airport to Genoa Piazza Principe station in about 20-25 minutes, departing every 30 minutes; from there the square is a 15-minute walk or two bus stops. A taxi takes a similar amount of time, useful with heavy luggage.
From Milan
Direct trains between Milan and Genoa take about 1h30-2h, with frequent departures throughout the day. The arrival station, Piazza Principe or Brignole, is a few minutes from the square.
From Rome
The high-speed train takes about 4-5 hours, with an occasional change at Milan or a direct service in some time slots. Flying into Genoa or Milan is often faster for a weekend trip.
